You confirm your selection by pressing Space (and not Enter) when you press Escape, you can access icons that don’t represent any specific situations like marriage icon, bank icon, statistics etc. This means objects and situations will not be explained literally, but rather how you perceive them with the experience you have. The game also reflects your age, so if you are two years old, you will see things through the eyes of a two-year-old kid. If you lied a lot, then probably your parents won’t trust you when you tell them it wasn't you who ate that ice-cream (honest!). Naturally, your reactions to different situations have their impact, so if you tended to play with matches when you were a baby, you probably wouldn’t be suitable for some jobs as an adult. The game covers a whole life, from birth to death.

You decide how your character acts, be it as you would in reality or in a completely different manner. No, this game isn’t like The Sims (going to the toilet, taking kids to school etc.), but it's more focused on situations in one’s life. 'What if, at one point in my life, I had done one thing instead of another?' Well, now you have a chance to live a virtual second life, and try to take a different path in life. That’s the question most of us have asked ourselves at least once in our life.
